This has been a trying year and for the most part time is moving so fast. My husband Pastor Dan had a heart attack on March 11. It was really strange how it happened. It was the night the time changed we spring forward on time as you know. I was watching the tv that night and they had a program on about people having strokes and heart attacks when the times changes. I really don't know what the time has to do with anything but I guess their predicitions are right.
It was 3am on Sunday morning he got sick and got in his recliner. I found him about 7am and I ask him what was wrong with him? He said I am so sick. We got ready for the hospital which is five minutes away. Through all his pain we both took and shower and got ready to go. Never thought about calling an ambulance. Got to the ER and he walked from the parking lot into the door. The nurse said "you did not call an ambulance?" Two hours later the DR. said no stents would help him he had to go straight to surgery. The next thing I knew he was in ICU and the next day triple by pass surgery.
We never knew his arteries were bad. But seven of them were 100% clogged. It has been six weeks and he is doing great. I told this story to tell who ever reads this have your heart checked. Get a stress test or have your DR. check and see if you need something done you will live a longer life. When you don't know you can't fix it. He had a heart attack two years ago and we did not even know it. He is 58 years old and is like a new person. Thank You Lord for saving his life.
